Welcome to my blog, unfortunately there's not much to see at the mo, but hopefully in the very near future there will be some pics and ramblings. First subject is likely to be the allotment, its been very overgrown until recently, I adopted it at the end of last year and cleared it but it managed to get out of hand again, mainly due to laziness on my part and meeting new chap. But chap (Daf) is now very much into getting it back up and running, getting me all enthused again, so its been strimmed to within an inch of its life, I've pulled up a load of raspberry canes (sacriledge i know but the fruit was terrible) and we're starting from scratch.
New projects planned are:
- Redigging the beds and digging some new ones
- Clearing very overgrown compost heaps (4 to be precise)
- Creating steps down from the road for access - requires plundering skips for some nice old bricks hopefully
- Turning the beds into raised beds with a lot of timber, nails, sore tumbs, top soil and well rotted horse manure
- Resiting the compost heaps
- Shed
- Pond
- Fruit tree
